Mommy Mailbox - February 2016 Review

Mommy Mailbox is a monthly subscription box filled with gifts to "uplift and reward mothers". Each month the box is curated by a different guest blogger. Inside you can find items of fashion, home decor, gourmet food, fitness, art, and beauty.

While this is called "Mommy Mailbox", I think any woman would love getting the treats in these boxes as the two I've had haven't had any specific "mommy-themed" items in them.

Cost: 1 box is $36.95 (USD) with free US shipping. Shipping to Canada is $8.
- There are discounts when your purchase 3 or 6-month subscriptions.

The February box was curated by Katya Libin and Amri Kibbler from Hey Mama Co.  The theme was "Cherish" Let's take a look at what was inside!

Inside the box:
A super soft plaid infinity scarf from Greenish
A stunning triangle trio necklace in 14K gold from Olive and Piper
A valentine card by Neon Rae
Vegan lip gloss by Sappho
Vanilla and sea salt chocolate bar by La Luna Salt Co

I was in love with everything from this box. That chocolate was so divine, the necklace is so beautiful and the scarf is buttery soft.

I was rushing around trying to take photos when a 3 year old (not pictured) knocked over a glass of white wine (not pictured) onto the scarf, so I can also tell you that this scarf washes really well with light detergent on a delicate cycle in the washing machine.

I wore the scarf and lipgloss to work right away. While I love the colour of the lipgloss, I wish it was a bit more moisturizing.

My favourite item from this box is the necklace. It is so beautiful. I was worried initially because I am sensitive to a lot of jewelery, but I wore this necklace all day with no problems at all. It's easily one of my new favourite necklaces.

I think the value of this box is excellent. I don't know the retail price of each item, and even with the Canadian exchange being so terrible these days, I'm certain I got well more than what I paid for here.

What do you think? Would you try out Mommy Mailbox?
