Enter Happy Mail. Happy Mail is created by Elsie and Emma from A Beautiful Mess. I'm a fan of their blog and knew I'd love this subscription as well. Here is what was included in the June mailing of Happy Mail.
Details
The cost for a monthly subscription is $20/month. The discount if you commit to 12 months changes the cost to $15/month. For international orders (including Canada), add $2 for shipping. (Yes, just $2!!)
Each package has a retail value of $50.
I'm three months into my annual subscription, and I have not been disappointed. Happy Mail is set up slightly differently from other subscription boxes because on the 10th of each month, they reveal the entire contents of that month's Happy Mail in a video on their blog. So you know exactly what you're getting the month you sign up.
Below is a closer look at the June Happy Mail package.
This is a flat wedding card. Perfect timing for wedding season!
5 x 7 flat Get it Girl card. This is so summery and would also look amazing framed.
Each month one of the envelopes has a unique design. The "Hello envelope" is the special one for June.
Birthday/Unbirthday cards!
There seem to be one or two more quirky cards every now and then, which can be kind of fun. Last month there was a pretzel card that said, "You're twisted, but I love you". I gave it to a friend at work, and she totally loved it!
Every month many of the cards have some kind of shiny foil featured. This month is colbalt and sky blue. I've tried to shoot the card on an angle so you can kind of get an idea of the shininess.
So far each month there has also been one postcard included.
One sheet of washi stickers/envelope seals. They are slightly transparent and can easily be torn into smaller pieces.
Please Note notepad (pen not included). I can never have enough notepads, so this is great!
Each month they also include a larger print, usually inspirational. This would also look really beautiful framed.
I love so many things about this subscription package. I love the name and the beautiful and thoughtful messages on the envelope in which everything arrives. I love the adorable designs of the cards, the mix of flat and folded cards, the quality of each product, the foil that makes these cards just a bit more sophisticated, and especially that they always include a few non-card items. I think that's particularly what makes this stationery subscription just that much more unique than others I've seen.
I was at a work social event a few weeks ago, and I was excitedly telling my colleagues and friends about Happy Mail. I was telling them how the cost was so reasonable at just $17/month, and one of my friends said to me, "That is really great! The way you're describing it sounds like at least $45 worth of happiness." That really made me laugh! But seriously, I received a dozen unique items for less than $2 each.
If you want to see even more, here's a few photos from Instagram of how I've used items from the previous packages I've received. Plus it's really fun to search #ABMhappymail on Instagram to see how others are using their Happy Mail.
June's Happy Mail is still available until this Thursday. Then Friday, July 10th you can check their website to see the July Happy Mail reveal!
